Stronger than cotton, soft as fabric
Woven binding tape with hot-melt adhesive is a fast, effective way to finish carpet edges, restore upholstered furniture and complete craft work. Made from 100% polyester yarn, it keeps the softness of fabric while being denser than cotton tapes, stronger and far more resistant to abrasion and fading — so it holds up where there is high tension, heavy traffic or strong sunlight.
Applying the tape requires no special equipment — an iron is enough for the heat to bond the adhesive permanently to the surface. The surface does not have to be perfectly even: the tape will finish the edge of a felt bag just as well as a sisal scratching post or a concrete planter.
The standard herringbone weave does more than show off the yarn — it visually hides imperfections when the edges of the object are not perfectly straight. Two-tone tapes are woven from matched yarn colours; on request we will prepare a different combination or a single-colour version.
